Want to view house cleaning in a whole new light?
I don’t know about anyone else but when you work all week there are times in which you just aren’t in the ‘mood’ to then do the thorough house cleaning.
I personally find that once I get started I realize how great I feel when it’s done. But this isn’t just because the house looks great and smells wonderful. It’s because I utilize the time to mentally house clean as well. In fact some of my best ideas are thought up while working out and scrubbing the house. Even any stress seems to melt away as well. Just like working out, endorphins are released in your body when cleaning. That is why you will see statistics of how many calories you burn while cleaning.
But why not utilize this time to mentally clean as well. So when I start ‘house’ cleaning; I find if I start off thinking about issues, topics, or even people that are not positively serving my missions and passions in life, by the time I am done with those chores, I am ready to release the stress or worries that may have held me back. Or have thought of new ways to approach them or resolve them.
Start a conscious effort to clean house AND mentally clean house.
Let your natural endorphins go to work while you are working. This will also allow you to have a regular mental cleaning more often.
Once I started consciously working this muscle it has now become natural and in fact I find myself going into house cleaning mode anytime I need a mental cleanse.
Now any kind of cleaning has a whole new meaning. This is just one small example of I teach so much about the power of our unconscious minds to achieve maximum results! The unconscious is truly a POWERFUL muscle that can be exercised to do POWERFUL things consciously! Success is by choice!
